CAT 2022 Exam: CAT full form (Common Admission Test). CAT is a compute based selection test. It is conducted by the Indian Institute of management (IIMs) Ahmdabad. CAT is graduate management program. CAT is a national level entrance examination. Through this examination qualified student will get admission in various PG management programs. It is offered by the IIMs institution across the country. The IIMs started this exam and used for this exam for selecting student for their business administration programs (MBA or PGDM). IIM conducted this exam every year on a policy of rotation.

Registration of CAT 2022
Following are the mention complete details below candidate need to know before filling CAT 2022 registration Form:
- Candidate who apply for registration they apply for registration through online mode only. offline mode is not available.
- Candidate apply for CATE 2022 registration form from 1st week of august 2021.
- Candidate will have to fill the CAT 2022 application form with authentic and valid detail or information only, because candidate who apply with wrong detail or information could create problem at the time of admission.
- Candidate must re-check their application form at the time of fill application form and before pay application fee.
- Candidate will have to fill application form before last date of submission form, no candidate will be apply for form after last date of submission.
- Last week of September month of 2021 CAT 2022 application process will get over.
- After fill the application form candidate are advised to keep the print of filled application form and fee receipt for future reference.
Application fee of CAT 2022 :
The Application for CAT 2022 online mode only, candidate can submit CAT 2022 application fee through online basis. Candidate can payment through Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking and UPI based payment mode.

Apply for Correction in Application form of CAT 2022 :
The correction facility will be given in application form after few days from the completion of registration process. Registered candidate can correction in application from through online mode. The correction facility will remain available on the website for 3-4 days. Candidate will be able to rectify the mistakes in application form in few details if form. The correction facility will be applicable for few details only and majority of details.
Candidate can rectify in some detail in the application form like Name & Email. ID etc. will remain unchangeable.
CAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria :
Candidate must fulfill following norms for CAT 2022 examination:
- Required Qualification : candidate should be have a bachelor’s degree in any recognized university/ board.
- Minimum marks : Candidate should have at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved categories) in their bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum Age limit : Candidate who apply for CAT there is no need age or attempt limit.
- Appearing candidate : candidate who appearing in the final year of bachelor degree are also eligible to apply CAT exam.
- Professional degree : candidate holding professional degree like CA/CS/ICWA can also apply for CAT 2022 exam.
CAT 2022 exam pattern

- Exam mode: CAT exam will be conducted through online mode. It is computer based exam paper.
- Types of question: In CAT Exam question paper will contain both objective and non-objective types of question.
- Duration of exam: the duration of CAT exam will be total 2 hours (120 minutes).
- Availability of Test centers: the test centers will be available all across the country.
- Marking Scheme: the marking scheme in the CAT exam will be:
- For each correct answer 3 marks will be given in objective section.
- For each wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted objective section.
- No negative marking will be done in subjective section.

Syllabus of CAT 2022 exam :
CAT syllabus will be comprise of all three sections:
- Data Interpretation & logical reasoning:
Seating arrangement, syllogism, blood relation, Bar Graph and column Graph, case lets and tables, Venn diagrams, combination of two or more types linked to each other, calendar, cubes and clocks, line charts & pie charts, number and letter series, binary logic, logical matching, connective & sequence.
- Verbal ability & Reading comprehension :
Analogies and Reverse Analogies, Facts Interferences judgments, Grammar or English Usage, fill in the blanks, verbal reasoning, meaning/usage match, Summary question, Synonyms, Antonyms, Correction in sentence, Reading comprehension, jumped paragraph and close passage.
- Quantitative Ability:
Coordinate Geometry & mensuration, sequences & series, surds & Indices, Inequalities, set theory, function & Geometry, mixture & Allegations, Trigonometry, profit & loss & discount, percentages, simple & compound interest, logarithm, binominal theorem, complex numbers, quadratic & linear equation, probability, permutation and combination, number system, LCM &HCF, speed, time &distance, time &work, ratio & proportion, average.

CAT 2022 Answer key :
The date of examination authority will release the provisional answer key after few days from the date of exam. Candidate will be able to access the CAT 2022 answer key on the website buy online mode. The website will be conducting by authority.
Candidate will must use their CAT user ID & password to get the answer key. In the answer key the authority will provide the objection facility.
The objection facility will remain applicable only for limited period of time. In case if any Candidate want to get the answer key than the same will also be available but for this candidate should raise a query to the concern authority and after that the same will be available and the candidate will access the answer key with the help of their login user ID & password.
CAT 2022 Result :
After the release of the answer key the examination authority will declare the result. The result will be declared tentatively around first week of January 2022. The examination result will be declared online.
Authority will not send result to any candidate individually. Authority will release the result for each candidate who appeared in the exam on their official website. Candidate will access their result itself with the help of their login credentials.
CAT 2022 Cut off :
The cut off rank will be the minimum marks which every candidate will need to score to become eligible for further admission procedure. Every IIMs will separately release their 2022 examinations cut off marks for admission in their respective offered programs. Candidates after successfully qualify the examination becomes eligible to take the admission in such offered programs through online mode.

CAT 2022 admission procedure:
On the basis of CAT scores, every IIM will conduct separate counseling for CAT 2022 admission procedure. Because there won’t be any centralized counseling for CAT 2022 examination.
From a few weeks the CAT 2022 admission procedure will be start from the date of declaration of result. The final admission process will be conducted in the respective IIMs campuses. In every IIMs admission procedure will be different, so candidate who applying for admission in CAT 2022 exam is better advised to visit the website of each IIMs individually.
The confirmation of admission notice will be sent to every shortlisted candidate. The notice will be send through their registered email ID and Phone number. Candidate will have to report in their allotted center within given period of time to accept the admission offer.
