The Poornima College of Engineering was established in the year 2000 and is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University and approved by AICTE. The College is accredited by NBA. The College offers engineering programme in numerous specializations. Admission in the courses is based on Entrance Exam. The RTU has ranked the College at #2 position. Poornima College of Engineering (PCE) is one of the three cluster colleges established by Shanti Education Society. The college was set up in 2000 and is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University (RTU).
A plethora of activities and on-field experiences are offered to students who take admission to Poornima College of Engineering. Some of them include a visit to 10 large scale industries, seminars conducted every year and interactive sessions with people actively working in the industry.
Admissions are offered in B.Tech and M.Tech courses. The admission is both entrance and merit-based. Students have to apply for counseling for both B.Tech and M.tech admissions.
B.Tech admissions require students to pass 10+2 in the Science stream. They are also required to qualify the JEE Main exam to be eligible for admissions. Selections are based upon the decision of REAP counseling. Thus, applications are also accepted through REAP.
To get admission in M.Tech program applicants must have a relevant B.E/B.Tech degree and qualify GATE. Applications are accepted through RTU CAM, and admissions are also decided by the same through counseling.
Around 453 students were offered placements belonging to the 2018-19 batch. Almost 89% of the students got admission on-campus. The highest package offered has gone up to 9 LPA. The CSE and IT department saw a maximum number of its students getting placement- 37%.
